Happy Halloween Mookies! Here's a treat for ya, a very cool first person Flash game: The Mystery Of Time And Space. If you're around Elyria Saturday and want to give yourself a treat Chubbys is having a clambake from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. $20 bucks will get you a dozen clams, chicken, sweet potato and related fixings. A side of mussels is $3/dozen. Drawings, prizes (people ask where I got my bad attitude - I won it at the last Chubbys clambake!) and general mayhem included.

Another interuption in service for the ol' RBT. This is the first time I've been able to access the page all day. Our new hosting company reported that the trouble all started because of a huge DoS attack that brought everything down. They then had to restart services server by server. sigh....

You may or may not have noticed but we've had a bit of disruption on the 7393.org site lately. The hosting company we originally used was bought out by another one in Texas. They've been busy moving all accounts from the old companys servers (located in New Jersey) to new ones located somewhere in the Houston area. Our IP numbers have also changed. Disruption is the norm when a major move like this is afoot. Seems better now though (he says as he looks for some wood to knock on).

Y'know what we need? A new official national holiday (mandatory day off of course).

A friend of mine sent a link to an interview with Daniel Ellsberg which touches on a number of current topics that were . . well, current when we were young and dumb and ten-foot tall and bulletproof. So in the History repeats itself category I started a discussion in the RBT chatroom based on the interview to hash out some the questions it raises. Any interested party can listen to it at OnPointRadio and then join the discussion at the chat facility by picking Ellsberg in the public rooms category then clicking the chat button.

Hello all... Haven't been communicative for some time, much to everyone's surprise. But Shan and I have been very, very busy producing, acting and, in Shan's case, directing a reading of our friend's new play about New York and September 11th. We have had our first performance of the staged reading, and it went very well. Many people came and told us what they thought -- some were even complimentary. Go figure. We'll try to beat the odds again in our next performance. Other than that, all I have been doing is working many hours (complicated shows, lots of overtime, no sleep). Hope all of you are well. We'll try to be more regular here -- it's a good place to keep in touch. (Thank you, Whatley.) Russell

Seems to me there's a definite lack of posting going on here (Andy not included). Does this mean that nothing you've done, seen or thought about in the last month has been worthy of the smallest mention? I mean Ralph maybe, but all of you? Good Lord. It's coming on time when I'll have to pony up another $100 to keep this thing going. Honestly now, should I? Anybody wanna help?

If the weather's at all decent I'll be putting my boat in at West Branch (by Ravenna) this Saturday for some fishing, which to be honest isn't that great there right now, and some lazy motoring around, which is always great there. It's a beautiful spot and, guess what Mookie, you're invited. Let me know by Friday afternoon. An additional treat: The Hooligans are playing at Creekside that Saturday. Talk about your well rounded day.

OK. So politics and incipient war the dogs do not rouse. How about Sex and Violence? ( and drinking and lepidoptery and ornithology )
