The Red Brick Times

The incredible shrinking whatley is back. I don't think I mentioned much about this on tRBT but along about last December I got real motivated to lose some weight. I was going at about 335lbs at the time. Sidewalks were cracking at the very sight of me, not that I walked around much. Within a few months I'd dropped 55lbs or so just by calorie counting and decided to start exercising as well. To make a long story short (a fat story thin?) I'm weighing about 200lbs now and am a striking example of the male physique if I do say so myself (and I do). Most who see me regularly are hinting (strongly) that it's time quit dieting. I pretty much agree so I guess that's that. Whew.

The Lorain County Fair is in full swing since Monday. 8AM to 10PM. All the beekeepers you ever wanted to talk to (near gate 5), more livestock than one human can shovel up, aluminum siding and add-on porch people, car dealers, tractors, old stuff, new stuff, and the less-poorly behaved young-uns of Lorain County are all on display. And anything fried that you care to eat is available al fresco. Be sure to support the Wellington Band Boosters by getting a box of fresh-made doughnuts. And Katko. A FOWL display. See the Wetlands Maven in his unnatural habitat and buy a unique T-Shirt hand-made by Patricia. The FOWL booth is at the Fair (Monday August 23 through Sunday August 29 - until 6PM on Sunday). If you enter at Gate 5 on Saturday evening or Sunday afternoon, see me in the little glass booth selling tickets and giving away free high schools. Cross my palm with some $$ and I will tell your fortune as well (I see, you are, a tailor...... ).
